His life is a constellation of millions of different adventures and experiences that have taken him everywhere fishing and cooking worldwide.
He dove and built harbours and bridges in Islands back when there was nothing but coal ferries. He hosted the danish King. He helped and guided NOMA’s founders when NOMA was just a sketch.

Dávur. 49.
Kunoy is the Island where his family and heart is. Dávur was born and raised in Klaksvik but lived 18 years abroad, of which 10 in Asia. He has 3 children. He has been projecting working on the biggest boats engines.
He recently decided to come back in the Islands, to start his own company "Blikksmidjan".

Djóni Kunoy. 45.
Djóni is Davur’s cousin. He is goat farmer and a passionate mountain expert, who climbed most of the highest peeks like Kilimanjaro, Chopicalqui, Mont Blanc. Family deep values here are absolutely crucial.
Kurt. 39.
Proudly Faroese. As most of people born in the islands, he shaped his life around fishing. He re-invented his job many times to support his family in a time when new generations are less ready to sacrifice.
Svein. 47.
Captain and Chef of “TUMMAS T” massive fishing boat. He takes care of more than 12 people within fishing sessions that can last for up to 2 weeks in the northern sea. While the crew hunts for fish, he daily prepares fresh food onboard.
Carl August. 78.
A life spent as captain of the most important ships of the Islands. Loving the craft of fishing, nature and the study of italian and European arts. Now retired, he is the soul of Torshavn harbour market.
Bogi. 36.
A globetrotter and an ex professional rugby player. After exploring the world underwater, he opened his own Scuba Diving school. When not in the deep waters of the Islands, he spend hours and hours alone in his wood lab, crafting beautiful pieces of furniture.
